A personal story about the house from the owner
This idyllic property is overflowing with history and tradition fused with modern elegance.
You can taste figs from 40 years massive old fig tree that dominates the house entrance or walk by the same-age olive trees that not only fence the property but grow olives produced into extra virgin olive oil.
We wish you to enjoy the traditional Istrian hospitality and sit at the stone table in front of the house.
This table called “skrila” in the Istrian dialect, is a homage to the numerous guests that visited my family since it was manually excavated by my grandfather in 1925 in a nearby village.

We are honoured to be the first guests at Villa Skrila, oh my! What an amazing 5 days my husband and I spent there.
The property is newly renovated and tastefully furnished! Every single appliance you need is available in the fully fitted kitchen. The attention to details is remarkable!
The indoor dining, bar and seating areas.
The outdoor area has 5 sitting areas, a standard swimming pool, beautiful garden with fig trees, cherries etc, bbq, badminton, pingpong table, swings and a trampoline in a serene and safe neighbourhood.
There are supermarkets, restaurants and beaches close by either walking, cycling or by car.
Fazana is strategically located within the Istria region hence trips to other cities are easy to navigate. Oh my! The view on the drive through the region is gorgeous! The beautiful olive trees, sea views, mountain views just gorgeous!
Our gracious hosts were super helpful and hands on, we received amazing recommendations of restaurants, day trips, Olive oil, spa, nail studio literally everything we needed was granted and more!
